John and Judy Meredith established Meredith Seed Co. in Armidale in 1982

Meredith Seed Company is an independent, family owned seed, grain and fertiliser merchant, proudly serving the New England region for over thirty years. We now supply to all regions of New South Wales and into Southern Queensland.

We stock and supply a wide range of seed varieties suitable for all areas of pasture development, backed up by extensive personal support and expertise.

Our stock feed products and quality ingredients for dairy, sheep, beef and pigs can be customised to specific requirements and environments.

History

John and Judy Meredith first established Meredith Seed Co. as a Seed, Grain and Fertiliser merchant in 1982. Due to the seasons and demand, the business quickly extended into Produce and Feed.

In 1988, we built our bulk storage shed at our current premises at 36 Old Inverell Road, Armidale for unloading trucks, storage and some Custom Feed Mixing.

In 1990, the capacity of the bulk shed was doubled to its present size, in addition to the inclusion of silos and the feed mill.

In 2004 we established our Seed Grading Plant to cater for any custom grading. Our silo storage can now cater up to 375 tonne of Grain, 30 Tonne of Meals and 40 tonne of TruGraz®
